Aeon Protect Plus – a pre- and post-surgery dry eye drop – is now registered and available in Australia.
Dry eye may be a hidden obstacle to some patients’ satisfaction with their cataract surgery. Aeon Protect Plus aims to help with ocular surface disease, before and after surgery, and improve post-surgical outcomes.
Aeon Protect Plus is preservative and phosphate free, and contains next- generation 0.3% cross-linked sodium hyaluronate. Cross-linking retains more water and has a higher viscoelasticity than linear sodium hyaluronate, which boosts hydration and comfort, and stays longer on the eye.
Aeon Protect Plus is contact lens friendly and comes in a 10 ml multidose Aptar dispenser bottle.
