The British Contact Lens Association has announced the introduction of a “business day” to its prestigious annual conference, which will be held in June, in Manchester. The day is designed to give delegates the tools to drive growth and profitability within their contact lens business.
BCLA President, Dr. Catharine Chisholm, said the inaugural business day was an acknowledgement of the very competitive business element to contact lens practice today.
“The aim… is to help the practice manager, practice owner, contact lens practitioner – whoever is responsible for the contact lens side of the practice – to maximise the opportunities available, and give their patients a compelling reason to remain loyal after that initial consultation and fitting.”
