Detect early signs of macular disease with the Optopol Revo HR, distributed by OptiMed.
Optopol introduced the first spectral domain optical coherence tomographer (OCT) to the ophthalmology market in 2004. Twenty years later, the company continues to innovate, unveiling the Revo HR as a major advancement in the technology.
The Revo HR scans at a remarkable three-micron resolution, enabling clinicians to detect early signs of diseases at the microvascular level. To detect early stages of disease in the posterior part of the eye, the new ultra-widefield module, included in the software 21 upgrade, captures up to approximately 105Âș with a single scan. This allows users to image both the macular area and the far periphery.
As new therapies are being integrated earlier into treatment regimens, early diagnosis is becoming increasingly crucial. This is especially important for first-line screening clinicians and ophthalmologists committed to excelling in patient outcomes.
