Macular Disease Foundation Australia (MDFA) is seeking input to better understand how patients with macular disease are supported; both inside and outside the clinic.
MDFA wants to hear directly from the people who care for and support those living with macular disease, whether you work in a clinic, at the front desk, or alongside patients in the community.
The short survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and will help MDFA identify:
- what’s working,
- what’s missing, and
- where improvements could be made.
If you work in eye care, your perspective is valuable, and we’d love you to share the survey with your colleagues too
MDFA said it was important for it to hear from a wide range of professionals, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmic nurses and technicians, optical dispensers, diabetes educators, and front-of-house and administrative staff in ophthalmology and optometry clinics
“If you work in eye care, your perspective is valuable, and we’d love you to share the survey with your colleagues too,” said Victoria Heaton, MDFA’s Healthcare Relations Manager.
The survey is open until 8 July 2025.
Ms Heaton said all responses are anonymous and will be handled by Little Duck Insights, an independent consultancy adhering to strict privacy and ethical research standards.
