Rohto Dry Aid Now Available in Australia

The product was launched at an event held alongside the Optometry Clinical Conference in Melbourne on Sunday, 17 August.

At the event, Professor Fiona Stapleton presented, for the first time in Australia, key insights from the recently released Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society’s third Dry Eye Workshop Report (TFOS DEWS III) guidelines.²

The guidelines emphasise personalised treatment approaches for dry eye disease, recognising overlapping mechanisms including lipid deficiency and neurosensory discomfort.

Three-Way Mechanism

In a head-to-head trial, Rohto Dry Aid outperformed sodium hyaluronate drops in patients with meibomian gland dysfunction, improving tear break up time, ocular surface staining, and patient-reported symptoms.³
