Alcon is expanding the Alcon Experience Academy – its global on-demand learning platform for eye health professionals.
Globally, the Alcon Experience Academy delivers thousands of courses annually. The newly redesigned website and relaunched platform offer access to:
- E-learning modules, educational videos and more from thought-leaders and educators
- Tailored content and learning journeys on key topics including ocular comfort, aftercare, presbyopia, astigmatism, contact lens materials, contact lens fitting, contact lens technologies, ocular surface for optometry; and
- Resources on disease states and the latest advancements in Alcon’s innovation.

Nadia Michaels, Head of Professional Education and Development for Alcon Australia and New Zealand said the platform has tailored content for ophthalmologists, surgical support staff, optometrists and optometry retail support staff.
Currently in Australia and New Zealand, optometrists can access 15 modules, with new content being added. Optometry retail staff currently have access to three modules.
