The latest range of Ted Lapidus optical frames and sunglasses has been created under the direction of senior designer Paul Malairan who joined Look Vision in 2007.
While sunglasses for men are inspired by GT cars, architecture and luxury watches, women’s sunglasses are inspired by jewellery, oriental patterns and historical Ted Lapidus designs.
The optical range is more creative, reflecting French preferences and the fact that, from the company’s point of view, optical frames are more important than sunglasses.
The new collection, launched at Silmo 2010, features unique acetate eye shapes and uses carbon fibre for decoration. There are more architectural styles for men and pretty styles for women on the way, and possibly an eco-friendly range as well.
