Skies the Limit for Mykita and Agatha Snow

From Germany comes the most delicious sunnies by Mykita.

Designed for Mykita by internationally renowned artist Agathe Snow, the new Cyrus range is inspired by the world’s monuments, landmarks, and historical sites. The frames form part of the artist’s latest body of art works entitled ‘All Access World’ exhibited at the famed Guggenheim Museum.

The neon pink and black Cyrus glasses feature a fine, hand painted line of gold paint drawn as a horizon across each lens: the skyline of New York or pyramids of Giza. That drawn line is barely noticeable by
the wearer but visible to the onlooker.

Hand made in Berlin, the Browline style frames are made from flat metal and devoid of chunky acetate or screws. Limited to just 200 pairs, each one is numbered and signed by the artist.

Many people who work in eyewear are big collectors of unique frames. If this is you, this collection is definitely worth seeking out – but they’re only available online at the Guggenheim Store.
