ACBO Appoints New President

ACBO has announced a new board to be headed by Dr. Paul Levi as President. Jim Kenefick from Adelaide joins the Board as Vice President, Kevin O’Brien from Singleton has been appointed ACBO Secretary and Orlando Pezzimenti from Melbourne has been appointed to the role of Treasurer.

Speaking of his appointment, incoming President Dr Paul Levi said, “I am privileged and humbled to become the president of ACBO and I promise to serve ACBO to the best of my ability. ACBO has come through a few turbulent years. We have experienced a number of changes in the board and some very dramatic organisational changes.”

Outgoing acting president, Adrian Bell said the past few months have been tough for ACBO, following the tragic loss of president Sue Larter.

“At Sue’s memorial I announced that ACBO would institute the Sue Larter Vision Trust to support disadvantaged patients who required Vision Therapy. The wheels are turning and we are working hard to make the Trust a reality,” he said.
