Carl Zeiss Vision has licensed its coating technology to Hoya Vision Care Company under the Australian Patent 781,979.
The ‘979 patent describes transparent anti-reflection coatings applied to ophthalmic lenses which are anti-static and have at least one electrically conductive layer.

Carl Zeiss and Hoya are also exploring other licensing initiatives in various technology areas.
