Optometrists in NSW will have the opportunity to hear the latest research into eye health at Super Sunday, this year on 15 June. The full day conference comprises two parallel lecture programs with highly respected presenters, among them Angus Turner, Jim Kokkinakis; Michael Chilov and David Foresto.
Topics covered will include new contact lens technologies; elevated optic discs; uveitis; and pigmented and non-pigmented tumours of the retina and choroid. A business-based presentation will look at how practices can use technology and ancillary staff to maximise potential.
Hosted by the OAA NSW Division, this year’s Super Sunday conference will be preceded by two workshops on Saturday 14 June, on ‘Flashes and Floaters’ and the second on the topical subject ‘Intensive Glaucoma Diagnosis’. The Super Sunday conference and exhibition will be held at Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh (behind Redfern station). The Saturday workshops will take place at UNSW School of Optometry and Centre for Eye Health. A total of 30 CPD points are available.
