The seminar, hosted by Eyetech CPD will take place at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, one day prior to the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania Conference, to be held at the same venue.
The seminar aims to fill an unmet need in education beyond the ‘boot camp’ training course for those practitioners who have gone on to fit a number of patients and then find themselves confronted by a raft of patient management decisions of varying complexity somewhere down the line.
Dr. Randy Kojima will begin the Masterclass with a comprehensive account of the central role of corneal topography in assessment, fitting and ongoing clinical management of the CRT patient.
Dr. Russell Lowe will cover a broad spectrum of patient management scenarios illustrated by real-world CRT case studies, largely targeting the care of paediatric patients with progressive myopia.
Dr. Ken Kopp, Director of Clinical and Professional Services at Paragon Vision Sciences, will explain the Dual Axis design for astigmatism, Paragon’s patented topography-based CRT fitting pattern simulator and the hyperopic CRT design.
The Masterclass will run from 8.30am – 4:30pm. Registration is AU$385.
