Trilogy lenses, from Younger Optics, are made from Trivex lens material.
Trivex was originally developed for the US Military as visual armour to give impact protection and great optics in a lightweight lens. Younger’s Trilogy is therefore ‘highly impact resistant and resistant to common chemicals” says the company.
“Trilogy offers better optics than other ‘high index’ or polycarbonate materials with an abbe value of 45. Being a lightweight lens and blocking 100 per cent of harmful UV rays, Trilogy is perfect for children and the elderly for comfort and safety, and the best choice for rimless and nylon frames,” says the company.
They are available in a large range of styles and treatments including clear, NuPolar and Transitions.
