Transitions Optical launches a new experience for consumers

Transitions Optical’s new consumer campaign is one of the largest native campaigns to be executed across NewsCorp’s Australian metropolitan masthead titles online and is now live until the end of June.

The six week campaign which commenced in May is forecast to generate over 11 million online impressions, and calls consumers to ‘open your eyes to a new experience’ promoting Transitions’ latest everyday lenses – Transitions Signature.

Transitions Optical General Manager for Asia Pacific, Stuart Cannon said the campaign is the beginning of a bigger emphasis for 2015 on driving brand awareness, trial of Transitions lenses and creating advocacy.

“Our campaigns will be focused on celebrating sight through everyday visual experiences and in the second half of the year will share real life stories of Transitions lens wearers.

“This first integrated campaign will build on the momentum created by our recent television advertising across the 7 Network, pay TV and AFL game days,” said Mr. Cannon.

The current campaign is a first for Transitions Optical integrating content marketing, display advertising, interactive features and a Facebook promotion across multiple platforms driving consumers to experience life through Transitions lenses.

Across the health and lifestyle pages of major metropolitan online news outlets, including Adelaide Now, Perth Now, The Daily Telegraph, Courier Mail and Herald Sun, the campaign will include sponsored editorial which focuses on enhancing the senses and includes a visual interactive feature promoting Transitions everyday lenses and virtual Viewer lens demonstration tool.

Desktop and mobile display advertising will also run across all lifestyle index and article pages including social media integration which will promote Transitions Optical Australia New Zealand Facebook content on NewsCorp sites.

The digital advertising will drive the online audience to a new section of Transitions’ website – The Experience – where visitors will be encouraged to trial Transitions virtual Viewer, learn more about Transitions Signature and click through to Facebook.

A competition is encouraging Facebook users to Celebrate Your Senses to win one of six weekly prizes by sharing an image which shows their view of the world. Visit www.facebook.com/transitionsanz to enter.
