An article run in mivision’s May 2016 issue titled Anti-Vegf Changes Highlight Need for Health Cover Reform made the statement “Currently around 80 per cent of intravitreal injections are performed in day surgeries, according to Associate Professor Alex Hunyor.” This was an error. The statement should have read “Currently 80 per cent of injections are done in rooms and 20 per cent in theatres”. mivision apologises to Assoc. Professor Alex Hunyor for misquoting him.
