theeyecarecompany Joins George & Matilda Eyecare

Leading independent group theeyecarecompany will join Australia’s newly established George & Matilda Eyecare network.

Established in 2005 by Margaret Lam and Griffin Ngo, theeyecarecompany comprises four practices, with its flagship practice on George Street, Sydney.

George & Matilda Eyecare CEO, Chris Beer, said the decision of theeyecarecompany to join George & Matilda Eyecare was testament to the attraction that the network held for well-regarded and proven independent optometrists.

“theeyecarecompany is a strong independent optometrist with a proven record for service and quality with a loyal patient base. The group’s founders understand the benefits of the George & Matilda Eyecare’s proposition to their staff and patients and we’re delighted to welcome them into the network,” said Mr. Beer.

Margaret Lam, said George & Matilda Eyecare represented the best personalised care possible for patients. “This aligns with the way we practice optometry to deliver exceptional care to our patients. Being part of a bigger optometry group that is patient – and optometry-focused in this manner is the ideal formula to allow our company to continue to grow from strength to strength.”

theeyecarecompany joins other independent optometry groups that have signed on as members of the George & Matilda Eyecare network, including inaugural signings Peter Hewett Optometrist and Hanks Optometrists.
