Survey to Identify Needs for Macular Disease Care

Macular Disease Foundation Australia will soon commence national online research with all eye care professionals to determine how the Foundation can better meet their needs in delivering patient care.

According to the Foundation, these needs may include the provision of publications and resources, information on government benefits (medical or social services), latest research, advocacy, advice, services and support.
The research will be conducted by independent Australian social research firm Hall and Partners, Open Mind. The online survey will take between 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and all responses will be kept strictly confidential.

The online survey will be available and distributed in early January 2017. While participation in the study is voluntary, eye care professional feedback is vital and, according to the Foundation, will make a valuable contribution to the macular disease community.

Questions about taking part in this study can be directed to the Hall and Partners, Open Mind project manager, Paula Dos Santos, (AUS) 02 9925 5218 or email: [email protected].
