Brien Holden Vision Institute Academy will launch its ‘Managing Myopia’ course for eye care practitioners on 20 June 2017. The launch follows a popular pilot course held in 2016.
Research has demonstrated that there are ways to delay the onset and manage the progression of myopia, giving better visual outcomes for children. ‘Managing Myopia’ takes the latest advances and makes them clinically relevant for all eye care practitioners.
The course aims to improve understanding of myopia, help practitioners identify candidates at risk, and empower them with the skills to better manage progressive myopia for patients.
‘Managing Myopia’ is an accredited course and successful participants will receive 10 CPD points (including 3 face-to-face and 1 therapeutic point).
The course includes:
• 14 videos
• Eight interactive case studies
• An interactive webinar
All content can be accessed using a desktop PC, tablet or mobile and will take around four hours in total, including attending the webinar.
