This year’s annual Tim McKinnon Golf Cup in July attracted 50 keen golfers to the NSW Golf Club in La Perouse, Sydney in support of Optometry Giving Sight.
Under warm, bright blue skies, it was Henry Lawson who took home the title of overall winner with an impressive score of 43 off a handicap of seven. Speaking of the competition, Mr. Lawson said, “The Tim McKinnon Cup is the perfect way to bring people from the Australian optometric industry and their wider networks together to support a cause we are all passionate about. What better way to raise money for people in need of vision care than by spending the day in good company and enjoying some healthy competition while we’re at it!”
Optometry Giving Sight thanked all the players along with sponsors Optiqueline, CR Surfacing, BOC Instruments, Good Optical Services, Mimo, The Optical Company, Designs for Vision and Tiger Vision.
Funds raised will contribute to much needed eye care programs around the world.
