CooperVision Australia and New Zealand has added plus powers to its MyDay toric daily disposable contact lens family, enabling optometrists to meet the needs of a greater number of wearers. The expanded parameters are +0.50DS to +6.00DS in 0.50D steps.
First introduced in July 2017, MyDay toric lenses combine the design features of Biofinity toric with the silicone hydrogel one day material of MyDay. The ‘Optimised Toric Lens Geometry’ design provides uniform horizontal ISO thickness, optimised ballast band design, and a large toric optic zone. Additionally, a smooth, continuous surface makes it an easy to fit, stable toric lens.
