Alcon has launched the new Clareon AutonoMe IOL and delivery system across Australia and New Zealand at its Synergeyes Clinical Symposium in Sydney.
According to the company, the Clareon AutonoMe builds on the success of the AcrySof Platform, with over 100 million implants worldwide.1,2
AutonoMe is the “first and only automated, disposable, preloaded IOL delivery system enabling easy, intuitive controlled IOL delivery”.5 The Clareon IOL hydrophobic acrylic IOL is made of a patented, innovative optic polymer material with an advanced design, that “enables sharp, crisp vision; low edge glare; and unsurpassed optic clarity”.3-7
