The 2018 Scientific Congress will be held in the newly expanded Adelaide Convention Centre. This is the 50th annual meeting of the College, and the RANZCO Golden Jubilee Congress will feature a range of eminent international and local speakers.
The program includes: Prof. Robyn Guymer (Centre for Eye Research Australia) who will deliver the Sir Norman Gregg Lecture; A/Prof. Angus Turner (Lions Outback Vision/Lions Eye Institute) who will deliver the Fred Hollows Lecture; Prof. Stephanie Watson (Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney) who will deliver the Council Lecture; Dr. Russell Van Gelder (UW Medicine Eye Institute) who will deliver the Dame Ida Mann Lecture and the Uveitis Update Lecture; Dr. Ramin Salouti (Salouti Eye Clinic) who will deliver the Cataract Update Lecture; Prof. Giovanni Staurenghi who will deliver the Retina Update Lecture; Prof. Marlene Moster (Wills Eye Hospital) who will deliver the Glaucoma Update Lecture; and Dr. Bradley Randleman (University of Southern California) who will deliver the Cornea Update Lecture.
RANZCO 2018 is open to RANZCO members, medically trained doctors and those who work in practice with them. Optometrists must be sponsored by a Fellow of the College to attend the Congress.
