The Cornea and Contact Lens Society (CCLSA) has announced the successful recipients of the 2020 CCLSA Dorothy Carlborg Awards.
The 2020 winners and their research topics are,
- Fatima Iqbal, University of New South Wales: Longitudinal Changes in Morphology of Meibomian Glands in Contact Lens Wearers,
- Damien Fisher, Queensland University of Technology: Physiologic Corneal Changes Associated with Scleral Lens Wear, and
- Vinod Maseedupally, University of New South Wales: Optimising orthokeratology lens fitting to improve clinical outcomes.
a third award was enabled by a generous donation from an anonymous supporter of Australian contact lens research
Due to COVID-19 and the need to be financially prudent, CCLSA has decided to award just two practitioners in 2020, however a third award was enabled by a generous donation from an anonymous supporter of Australian contact lens research.
Congratulations to the recipients and supporters of the 2020 CCLSA Dorothy Carlborg Awards.
