CCLSA Dorothy Carlborg Research Awards Announced

The Cornea and Contact Lens Society (CCLSA) has announced the successful recipients of the 2020 CCLSA Dorothy Carlborg Awards.

The 2020 winners and their research topics are,

  • Fatima Iqbal, University of New South Wales: Longitudinal Changes in Morphology of Meibomian Glands in Contact Lens Wearers,
  • Damien Fisher, Queensland University of Technology: Physiologic Corneal Changes Associated with Scleral Lens Wear, and
  • Vinod Maseedupally, University of New South Wales: Optimising orthokeratology lens fitting to improve clinical outcomes.

a third award was enabled by a generous donation from an anonymous supporter of Australian contact lens research

Due to COVID-19 and the need to be financially prudent, CCLSA has decided to award just two practitioners in 2020, however a third award was enabled by a generous donation from an anonymous supporter of Australian contact lens research.

Congratulations to the recipients and supporters of the 2020 CCLSA Dorothy Carlborg Awards.
