Registrations Open for enVision Conference

Registration is now open for the 25th annual enVision Optometry Conference, which will be conducted virtually via a series of CPD webinars in October and November 2020. Each webinar will feature presentations by Vision Eye Institute’s NSW ophthalmologists on topics relevant to everyday optometric practice.

The first webinar of the series will focus on red eyes and paediatrics and feature presentations on differential diagnosis and management of red eyes by Dr David Ng, and what’s new and interesting in paediatric ophthalmology by Dr Rushmia Karim. The second instalment, on glaucoma and OCT interpretation, will include presentations on management of glaucoma in the community by Dr Jason Cheng, visual field abnormalities simulating glaucoma by Dr Mark Jacobs, and interpreting OCT scans by Dr Simon Chen.

In November, webinar three on neuro and refractive ophthalmology, will include presentations on ‘funny’ optic nerves by Dr Rushmia Karim, refractive suitability by A/Prof Colin Chan and neuroadaption by Dr Tess Huynh. The fourth and final webinar will feature three presentations on intraocular lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and new technology by Prof Gerard Sutton, A/Prof Tim Roberts and A/Prof Michael Lawless respectively.

The webinars will also feature components of an interview with Dr Chris Rogers and attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panellists questions.
