KeraClub 2022 – the annual meeting for people with keratoconus, their families, carers, and friends – is now available as a free webinar

Speakers included Professor Stephanie Watson OAM, Dr Yogambha Ramaswamy, Mr Larry Kornhauser OAM, optometrist Mark Koszek, Justine McLaughlin, and Dr Himal Kandel. The event was chaired by Michelle Pritchard.

The meeting examined new research into using nanotechnology and stem cells to repair keratoconic corneas, the latest findings on corneal collagen crosslinking, how to best manage specialised contact lenses for keratoconus, quality of life issues for keratoconus patients and patient perspectives on living with keratoconus.

This webinar presents a rare opportunity to hear some of the world’s leading researchers in keratoconus on topics that will shape the future of keratoconus treatments. It also provides insight into why you should avoid eye rubbing and ask family and friends to support tissue donation for corneal transplantation.

KeraClub is a community event held annually to publicise the latest developments in keratoconus research and treatments. Access the webinar here.
