Ophthalmologists, optometrists and orthoptists are invited to attend the official launch of SeeWay, an initiative of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, designed to support people with low vision/permanent changes in their vision.
SeeWay is Australia’s first comprehensive service for people with moderate low vision. By providing essential resources, guidance and psychological support beyond the consultation room, it helps individuals with low vision maintain independence and quality of life as their vision changes. This is a group that often falls through the gaps, as they may not qualify for traditional funding and services.
