Eye care professionals looking to strengthen their knowledge of paediatric myopia management can now access a series of advanced educational modules presented by paediatric ophthalmologist Dr Loren Rose.
The 10-module Paediatric Eye Care series covers key areas including history-taking, examination techniques, vision assessment, refraction, amblyopia treatment, strabismus surgery, and contemporary approaches to myopia management.
The series includes dedicated modules on refractive interventions, pharmacological treatments, combination therapies and new treatments, syndromic myopia, and case studies in myopia management. A further module examines treatment protocols for repetitive low-level red light therapy.
Dr Rose has more than 20 years’ experience in paediatric ophthalmology and has undertaken further study in childhood myopia management. She is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Canberra.
The modules are available individually or as a complete series through Myopia Australia.
