Myopia Profile is offering eye care professionals free access to Ask Kate – its myopia artificial intelligence (AI) agent – during Myopia Awareness Week.
Myopia Awareness Week from 18–24 May 2026, is a global initiative focused on building awareness, improving understanding of myopia and supporting better outcomes for children’s vision.
Unlike general AI tools that draw from across the internet, Ask Kate is trained exclusively on expert-reviewed Myopia Profile content. It cannot access external sources, meaning it cannot introduce misinformation or unverified advice. Every response is grounded in clinically relevant, evidence-based knowledge.
You’ll find Ask Kate via the icon in the bottom right corner of the Myopia Profile homepage. Simply click to start asking your myopia management questions – there’s no login required!
Also Available on MyKidsVision.org!
Making its world-first debut, Ask Kate is also available on MyKidsVision.org, designed specifically for parents – and it is also free to access across Myopia Awareness Week, from 18 to 24 May!
This platform draws on the same expert-reviewed knowledge base, adapted into clear, accessible language to help families better understand myopia, treatment options, and what to expect over time.
If you’re managing children with myopia, this can be a valuable resource to recommend to support conversations beyond the exam room, helping parents feel more informed and confident between visits.
