The MediWorks DEA520 is a comprehensive dry eye analyser designed to help practitioners efficiently assess multiple aspects of ocular surface disease using a range of non-invasive diagnostic tools.
The system evaluates tear film stability through non-invasive tear break-up time (NIBUT), measures tear meniscus height, assesses lipid layer thickness, and provides automated meibomian gland analysis to support the diagnosis and monitoring of evaporative dry eye. It also includes conjunctival redness grading, eyelid margin imaging, and fluorescein staining assessment, enabling a detailed evaluation of both signs and severity of dry eye disease.
With automated measurements, high-resolution imaging, and patient-friendly reports, the DEA520 supports clinical decision making and patient education while streamlining the dry eye consultation.
