Optos will soon introduce its newly-developed ProView images to optomap review software for all ultra-widefield imaging devices.
The company says this patented method for displaying optomap images, addresses the inherent bias in any curved surface when displayed on a flat plane and will be the building block, which will underpin a suite of imaging tools.
ProView introduces capabilities such as:
- enhanced 3D Wrap representation;
- accurate measurement of retinal features;
- improved image registration across imaging modalities
- and platforms; and
- a software method for automated montage and blending of central and eye steered images, which provides a complete view of the patient’s retina.
ProView will soon be available with all ultra-widefield imaging devices and to existing customers through a software upgrade.
