By micropulsing or chopping up laser power delivered to the eye, surgeons can control the amount of thermal energy delivered without damaging retinal tissue and leaving scotomas.
Many surgeons combine anti-VEGF treatment with micropulse laser therapy to produce long-lasting and effective treatment of diabetic macula oedema.
