The new Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener is a handheld, portable device designed to accurately detect vision issues on patients from six months of age through to adults. This Spot Vision Screener is of particular benefit for vision screening on uncooperative patients including patients with restricted mobility or developmentally disabled patients.
It is self-contained and easily acquires screening results, typically within seconds, with minimal user training and from a non-invasive one meter working distance. Refractive and gaze measurement readings are acquired binocularly for accurate detection of refractive error, anisometropia and strabismus.
Test results are immediately displayed on screen and it also has WiFi connectivity for wireless printing and networking if required.
