Iluvien (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant) 0.19 mg is indicated for the treatment of diabetic macular oedema (DME) in patients who have been previously treated with corticosteroids and did not have a clinically significant rise in intraocular pressure.
Its continuous micro-dosing technology offers up to 36 months of treatment with a single implant. Iluvien comes in a pre-loaded injector system (pictured).
